Lost on the Lunatic Fringe

I’ve decided that I have too many work friends on Myspace, so it’s time to go somewhere else and post all of my thoughts here. It was the natural thing to do, because this is where my husband keeps his thoughts. Besides, I can post adult content here, which is something I’m not allowed to do on Myspace. I’m not sure my aunts appreciated me posting adult content on Myspace with my adolescent cousins in my friends list. (My aunts are in there too, by the way.) I thought to myself, as long as I’m mostly just using it for blogging, maybe I need to compartmentalize and have a blog as well as a Myspace. That way I can use the Myspace for social networking and the blog to post my thoughts ‘o’ the day. It makes it easier for me to keep it straight. Besides, not all of my thoughts are appropriate to expose to my co-workers in that way. It’s not the done thing. If my employer gets a look at the blog I keep there, I’m fucked anyway. I’m sure I am. Actually, I’m not. It’s a toss-up. Maybe they’re human and adult and realize that there’s a difference between thoughts and your value as an employee.

At any rate, it’s time to chuck the Myspace blog and come here instead.
